Long time, no read

Have been busy busy busy lately and haven't had time to read or post. These are books I read weeks ago and haven't had time to put down. I am out of reading material, so hopefully once school starts Monday I will have time to both stock up and catch up.

Coffee and Kung Fu - Karen Brichoux
I found this book online somewhere and had my library get it through the ILL. I am so glad I did. It was a really fantastic book. So many of the books you read have characters that I can't identify with in ways, this one was really down to earth and seemed very real. Loved the plot.

Flabbergasted - Ray Blackston
I usually don't read the Christian fiction, but this one caught my eye and I liked what the jacket had to say. I'm also really glad I picked this one up. Excellent, excellent book. It was funny and charming and very realistic and not a bit preachy or goody-goody. I just saw on his site where he has a new one out so I will definitely be hunting it down.

Call Waiting - Dianne Blacklock
This was a decent book. It was one of those where the characters tended to tick me off, as in get over it already. It is an Australian book, so I don't know about its availability, so if you have to go out of your way to get it... don't.
